In the courtyards of the House of HaShem, in your midst, Yerushalayim, Hallelu Yah."In your midst, Yerushalayim" cannot mean North of the city. It must be that the Mikdash was within the city walls. The location of ancient Yerushalayim's northern city wall is to the South of the El Aqsa Mosque, in the Ophel area. A seventy meters long segment of the wall, part of which was recently excavated until the ancient bottom layers, is still standing, for all to see.
